The Only Child I Will Ever Love

I don't know if you guys are aware, but back in October I became and Aunt to the most beautiful baby on the face of the planet, Meila Michelle Lecek. In saying that I thought I'd share some of my favourite photos of my beautiful niece who is also in competition for Bonds baby of the year award, I'll post a link when voting begins :)

She's got a killer wardrobe and moves like jagger already. Hopefully she takes after her amazing aunty instead of the bums that reside on the other side of her family hehe. Love love my followers

Woodstock 2012

Last night one of my good friends Rochelle had her 21st birthday party, it was Woodstock themed and it was probably one of the best 21st I've ever been to. Pretty much everyone dressed up which made the night that much more fun. 

My outfit was more Austin Powers than Woodstock but I still rocked it like a pro. Once I got past all the bitching and petty high school drama that tends to follow some of these people around with them I actually had a really fun night. Music was amazing drinks were flowing and also my partner in crime Sam called to take me clubbing after it.

For the first time in a very very long time they had the audacity to charge me for my drinks, all coz Jesse wasn't there. How dare he take a night off when I'm trying to get my drink on haha.

Sam and I then started telling all guys out there that we were both "single to mingle" and took a random stranger on a maccas run with us at 3 in the morning... all I can say is

Music made me do it.

I have the power....

Over every bar tender I've ever met. I still don't know how I do it but I always manage to get free drinks and get away with murder while I'm out.... Thanks this week go to Jesse from Hunter's who is apparently very taken with me hence never paying for a single drink, having a special called the 'Jess Fox' and always getting my songs played by the DJ. Also mad props for putting up with my crazy and always willing to take our pics for us... xoxo

Bowling, Drinking, 2am drunk dials

When Vodafone pays for a night out we normally go hard, but for once we kept it tame and didn't get cut off from the bar.

Bowling then led to cocktails and pool games, drunk off our asses we then decided it was definitely the best idea in the world to hit up Kings Cross on a Sunday night when everything was closed and ended up in a bar that was by definition seedy until they finally kicked us out at 3am. But it was poor Adam who suffered the most, he had to endure me calling him at all hours of the morning to laugh about my crazy adventures and to stay on the phone with me while I walked part of the way home. Silver lining you ask?? He is now making a trip to come party with me in Sydney and I also think I'm famous he's telling his friends about some crazy chick he met... thats right people I'm totally FAMOUS now bitches!!

So dance like no ones watching, don't let other peoples opinions ever bring you down and most of all when something goes wrong just say these words, "Music made me do it" because you only have one very short life to live so make sure you live it with no regrets.

This is How You NEW YEARS!

Step One:

Buy a sequinned dress

Step Two:
Drink way too much at the pre-drinks party and play an epic drinking game

Step Three:
Hit up Newtown with the Ladies

Step Four:
When the club starts to annoy you take off on your own. Go to your favourite bar (Kelly's on King) and steal someone's microphone mid-karaoke and party the night away.

Step Five:
Take the drinking game you learnt early on in the evening and start up a new game in the bar with random strangers

Finally end your year slow dancing with your fave bar-tender Phil.

This, in my humble opinion, is the ONLY way to spend your new years. I had the absolute time of my life and I think I'm going to do the same thing next year.

So here's to 2012, the year this blogger goes international with a huge European adventure planned in just 70 days. Let this year bring you happiness, laughter, courage and confidence. Dare to dream big and follow your heart, but most importantly, LIVE because if you forget to do this most basic thing believe me life will start to suck big time.

This Is How We Party!

How to have the best night out possible:


1. Book a penthouse for the night
2. Get your work crew to come pre drink with you
3. Work for VHA, those guys know how to throw a decent party
4. Start up the dance floor in true party girl style, like me every time
5. Steal a huge Tiki skull and dance around with it on your head
6. Storm the stage and get photographed by a local paper singing with the Pit Bull look-alike

Word of warning though... always keep your shoes on I ended up with a shard of glass in my foot and needed medical attention that almost resulted in a quick trip to the ER. Also don't think that your friends will be there to help you out as I have said time and time again you can only ever rely on yourself.

All in all totally worth it had the night of my life and the pictures to show for it.

Brand New Tomorrow

So as those of you who read my blog religiously know (and don't lie I know you all do) you know how much I love and support Melbourne boys Daylight Hours.

Last week they released their EP 'Brand New Tomorrow' and saying that I loved it would be the understatement of the year. It's beyond amazing, I had it on repeat for two whole days.

It plays like an epic love story even though Adam assures me it's not about anyone in particular I'm being the hopeless romantic and will continue to think that they wrote it about one girl in particular, and who ever she is sounds very lucky.

"Me and You" was their first single out and it started this whole saga for me, but my favourite song off the EP would have to be "Definitely Maybe" its romantic but sad and depressing all at once and for some reason its the song I relate to most. 

Check it out for yourselves and tell me if I'm wrong but I swear these guys wrote it for someone in particular and if Adam wont give up the secret looks like I'll have to convince Marty, Anthony or Phil to spill the beans on this one.
